Lessons I liked the most were

I enjoyed learning about the people in class that I wouldn’t have normally interacted with on a level as deep as some of the activities required. I especially enjoyed learning about the background and challenges of famous business people and leaders, how they overcame these disadvantages, and went on to do such profound work. It was shocking to learn that these figures, that seem so high and renowned, were once troubled or came from impoverished families and made their way to the top through a variety of different ways.

A Woman Leader We Can Learn From

Women everywhere can learn from Chanel’s ability to break away from societal norms, and do what she wants instead of what was expected of her. It’s most likely that today or even decades before society wouldn’t perceive Coco Chanel as the courageous woman she is but rather a radical extremist and a negative voice for women because of her glorified substance use and numerous affairs. Even decades after her death people still admire her attention to detail and globally recognize the interlocked “C” symbol as luxury and high status.

Portals

Portals, Melanie Martinez’s latest album, has a large variation of new merchandise. With the arrival of this newest era, came a complete shift in Melanie’s aesthetics as an artist. She switched from pastel and childlike themes, to fairies and other planets. Even reincarnation after death. More recently released in 2023 is Melanie Martinez latest album, PORTALS. This album represents the death and rebirth of her character, Cry Baby. It opens with a mushroom with the words “RIP CRYBABY” carved inside a heart somewhere un an alternate dimension, thus introducing The Creature.
